Connect Mercari
Mercari doesn’t publish a seller API the way eBay does. ListSwiftly connects it a different way: by signing in to the Mercari website in a real browser, on your behalf, rather than with an API key.
Before you continue
Section titled “Before you continue”Because of that, ListSwiftly shows you a notice before you sign in, explaining that Mercari publishes no seller API and that ListSwiftly connects it by signing in to the website in a real browser on your behalf — and that the risk to the account is yours to take on, deliberately, before continuing.
Connect
Section titled “Connect”- Go to Channels and choose to connect Mercari.
- Enter an Account name and, optionally, a Warehouse — if you set one, sales on this channel only deduct stock from that warehouse.
- Read the notice, then continue to sign in.
- Sign in to Mercari as you normally would.
If your Mercari session later expires, ListSwiftly shows Sign in on the channel’s row — reauthenticating doesn’t lose the channel’s listings or order history, it just refreshes the connection.
Before you can cross-list to Mercari
Section titled “Before you can cross-list to Mercari”Mercari has no way for ListSwiftly to invent shipping choices for a listing out of nothing. Because of that, the Ready-to-sell checklist asks for a first listing made on Mercari itself — directly on mercari.com or in the Mercari app — before ListSwiftly can cross-list your other products there. ListSwiftly copies its shipping choices from that listing rather than guessing at them.
